Bald Eagles at Conowingo Hydroelectric Plant
In this late fall, bald eagles have migrated to their wintering spots. One of their spots is Conowingo of the Susquehanna River of Northeastern part of
Maryland. Susquehanna River is rich in fish. The fish pass through the turbines and get disoriented, therefore become easy prey. Bald eagles, as
well as the wildlife photographers congregate here.

A special spot on the rocky water edge is piled with these snails. They are 3-5cm in diameter. Are they full of parasites? If not, why do the US custom
form, specifically single "snails" out as prohibited item? Please tell me if you know the answer.
Shortly after the alarm of water release sounded, the gulls took flight.
After a few minutes, The sharp shrieks of the Bald Eagles were heard. They settle on the trees along the bank or on the power tower in the middle of
the river. Even a Blue Heron came in and took his pick. The Bald Eagles waited for 20-30 minutes, then all of a sudden they took off and fishing about
quarter mile from the dam.
From the corner of my eye, I saw a big bird fly close, quick turn around and got him carrying a fish.
