| Deep Cut Orchid Society Show at Dearborn Farm, Holmdel, NJ |
Every winter, I would visit the green house of Deep Cut Garden in Holmdel, NJ to linger among the blooming Cattleyas and other exotic
orchids for hours, to enjoy and to photographs. The variety and beauty of all blooming orchids, never ceases to surprise me. Often I have
the whole green house to myself. I can really lose myself in it.
A friend to me that there is going to be an orchid show at the state of the art greenhouse at the Dearborn Farm. A Deep Cut Orchid
Society show, a competition of private and commercial orchid growers. It is indeed a very extensive show with lots of unusual varieties not
seen in other gardens or parks, even in state or the big Philadelphia Flower Show. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
