Santa Cruz City Wharf
Santa Cruz City Wharf is a big wooden structure with parking, stores, lots of people, birds and sea lions hauling out on
any available horizontal support below the main surface.
A Western Grebe.
One Sea Lion swam by
with one of his
foreflipper always stuck
up.
The 500 to 900 pound
sea lions seems so
relaxed and playful in
water.
They were hiding a
baby amongst them.
Sea Lions' sunbathing
is called Hauling Out.
Purple sea star? My
first time also. It was
alive too.
South of the Wharf
there was a school of
Surf Scooter.
It's been decades since
I last seen the Bottle
Brush plant.
