Kancamagus Highway, NH
Kancamagus Highway was named after an Indian Chief leading a confederacy of 17 Tribes in central New England. It is
famous for the red foliage in the White Mountain of New Hampshire. Starting from Lincoln, It stretches 34.5 miles east
along the Pemigewasset River to the Saco River at Conway, climbing nearly 3000 feet. There are many beautiful views
at many overlooks and trials to enjoy the nature. The Rocky Gorge Scenic Area provides access to the river and water
fall.

The following pictures were taken on September 22, 2007, when the foliage just turned red.
A quiet corner.
